Most Silent of Nights

It's Christmas eve. 
We miss those children that have left this world long before their time. 

We cherish the time we had with them, but wish for just one more day to say all we need to say, and let them know how much they are loved. 

This Christmas...all is quiet. 
A Silent, Silent Night. 

The chair across the table is now empty. 

That present under the tree, will not be opened this year. 

That hug we shall not feel. 

That laughter we shall not hear. 

That forever smile we shall not see.

A Silent, Silent Night. 

We want to open the door and see you there, a glimpse, a shadow, something more than our memories we are left with.

All we can do is look towards the sky and whisper I Love You, on this Silent, Silent Night.
